Simon is a male monkey.

During a flying, Simon fell out of his aircraft and landed in the Serengeti. While there, he got chased past iii hyenas named Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed. Eventually, due to his cunning and acrobatic abilities, he launched himself out of a cannon and returned safely to his circus' shipping.

Biography

Early life

Simon was born to an unnamed male monkey. Forth with his father, he joined the Dingling Brothers Circus and became a circus monkey.^[ane]

Lost in the Serengeti

Simon and his father were on a airplane that was on its way to a circus. During the flying, Simon expert his act. Even so, when the act failed, he lamented how he was a bad circus performer. His father intervened and assured him that the spotlight would be on him someday.

Simon gets cornered by the hyenas.

Meanwhile, the clown pilots practiced some stunt flying and unintentionally caused Simon and his crate of circus stuff to autumn out of the aircraft. Simon and the crate of circus stuff landed in the Serengeti, where the young monkey encountered Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed. The hyenas resolved to eat him, only when they got into an statement, he escaped their clutches.

The hyenas plotted to catch and swallow Simon, only he ran away from them. As he fled, he got spooked by several animals, including an owl, a frog, and a snake. He before long heard circus music playing and followed information technology to where the hyenas had set upwards a trap circus. In that location, they made Simon perform different circus acts.

Simon outsmarts the hyenas.

For the final act, the hyenas made Simon dive into a pot of stew. The hyenas historic their success, but Simon managed to get out of the pot past making the stew spill and surfing out on a carrot. The hyenas realized that Simon had escaped and began to chase him. However, he outsmarted the trio past telling ball jokes and hiding inside a cannon.

When the hyenas wondered how they could become Simon out of the cannon, Ed suggested that they press the launch button, which Banzai did. The cannon subsequently shot Simon back into the Dingling Brothers Circus plane, where he reunited with his father.^[ane]

Physical advent

Simon is a pocket-sized and skinny monkey. He has gray fur, with a pink face, a pink chest, pinkish hands, and pink feet. His eyes are black. He wears a red bowtie and fez.^[1]

Personality and traits

Simon is somewhat cowardly and timid. Not just did he fear Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed, but he was spooked past several unfamiliar jungle animals. Despite his cowardliness, Simon has a dauntless and clever side. He managed to outsmart the hyenas by doing stand-upwardly comedy and got them to press a button that made a cannon launch him back into his circus' aircraft. At start, Simon idea that he was a terrible circus performer, but he improved his acts while in the Serengeti.^[1]
